Meet the trees in Cyclades Hiking tour is an amazing way to get in contact with the perennial vegetation of Naxos while hiking near a riverbed.
High vegetation is a unique scenery in Cyclades.
The trail begins in Kinidaros and ends in Eggared village. Among others we are going to observe plane trees, different species of oaks, juniperus trees and many annual herbs and plants.
The walk is mainly descending and parallel to a small water stream.
At the end of our journey we are visiting Eggares Olive Press museum to observe how olive oil production was in the past.
This experience gives you the opportunity to enjoy a hidden and precious part of Naxos.
